Your Procreo piece has been beautifully hand crafted over a period of several months. To enhance the quality and elegance of the piece and to preserve its longevity whilst using and enjoying it, we would advise you observe the below:
Solid wood / Veneers
As wood is a natural product, it may change and move depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment it is placed or stored in. Optimum conditions for the storage and placement of furniture is between 18-35C with a humidity level of 45-55%. We recommend the use of temperature and humidity control in dry, hot, cold or humid environments. Do not place furniture or complimentary pieces in direct sunlight - direct sunlight will result in discolouration over time. As each tree is unique, figures and grains of each solid wood element may vary depending on the lifecycle and nature of the particular species.
In order to ensure the longevity of your veneered item, coasters and place-mats should be used to protect the hand-finished surfaces from bumps, scuffs, stains and scratches.
Dust off regularly. Use a soft, lint free and slightly damp cloth to remove dust or marks. Immediately dry the cleaned area. Clean in the direction of the wood texture. Avoid stagnant moisture.
Glass
Glass may be cleaned with a glass cleaner. Do not use abrasive or solvent based cleaners. Coasters or mats should be used on glass tops or shelving to avoid accidental surface scratches.
Metal
Regularly use a soft, lint free and slightly damp cloth to remove dust or marks. Immediately dry the cleaned area. Do not use abrasive or solvent based cleaners to avoid damaging the finished surface. Coasters or mats should be used on metal tops to avoid accidental surface scratches.
